(...) There's a hole in the world like a great black pit
And it's filled with people who are filled with shit
And the vermin of the world inhabit it
But not for long...
They all deserve to die
Tell you why, Mrs. Lovett, tell you why
Because in all of the whole human race
Mrs Lovett, there are two kinds of men and only two
There's the one staying put in his proper place
And the one with his foot in the other one's face
Look at me, Mrs Lovett, look at you
No, we all deserve to die, even you, Mrs. Lovett, even I
Because the lives of the wicked should be made brief
For the rest of us death will be a relief
We all deserve to die (...)
Johnny Depp as Sweeney Todd and helena Bonham Carter as Mrs Lovett from Tim Burton's movie Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. That movie well... shocked me It was so grotesque... I'm not into musicals, or thrillers and for sure not dramas. But I liked it so much. All actors played their roles extremely well. And great singing! Johnny Depp has amazing voice
This drawing is the biggest one I've ever done and it's also the first time I've ever portrayed woman, but since Mrs Lovett is one of main characters I just had to put her here. The worst part was her hair. Even now I'm not satisfied with the way it looks like. :/

I have been browsing through critiqueables for a while now, and I had to stop, and give a little fan-girl squee upon seeing this. Originally I thought that you had taken a picture, but upon closer inspection, you DREW THIS! Kudos to you! I've always adored Sweeney Todd and this captures a perfect feeling for the musical! I really like how you've used shading within this piece along with the wrinkles upon their skin! The clothing looks very life-like and "touchable."
The originality of this piece is quite high as not very many quality pieces from Sweeney Todd are out there! I really enjoy this piece!
You use a lot of intricate detailing when doing their lips, clothing, hair and eyes (Along with other aspects of the piece!) Lots of shading, smudging (possibly, you might have just shaded more) but anyways, I'm giving you a 4.5 because one of the things I've noticed, the clothing and fingers seem a bit hazy and then the faces are more pronounced and clear. I'm not sure if this was the effect you were aiming for, or if this was just an unknown effect, but either way it takes away from the smaller details.
For Impact, I'm giving you a 5 because again, I had originally though you had taken a picture of these two, and then suddenly it hit me that this was a drawing! The main feeling of this piece really captures the viewer by all of the detail, and the emotion upon their faces!
Again, I really love this piece! Very good <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>
